Collages go wrong when every photo fights for attention. Six random shots with neon borders and uneven gaps looks busy, not fun. Three or four clear frames usually look better than a pile of everything.
Decide the story first. Trip highlights. Before and after. Team photos from a match. Then pick a layout that matches that story.
Build it
- Open Collage maker and add three or four photos.
- Match the canvas to where it will live. Square for a lot of feed posts. Tall for stories.
- Use a layout preset, then drag photos between frames and pan until each subject feels centered.
- Keep the gaps even. Check it at phone size. Export.
Layout habits that help
One big frame plus a couple of small ones works when one photo carries the moment. Equal grids are nicer for step-by-step or before-and-after. Try not to mix extreme close-ups with wide shots in a tiny grid. That is how collages feel chaotic.
If the colors clash hard, either grade them closer first with Effects or lean into a clearer hierarchy. Tiny uneven margins are surprisingly obvious on a phone.
